π« Tea Time: Traditional Femininity, Womb Wellness, and an encouraging message for aspiring Black Homemakers ✨
π±π· WOMBAN WELLNESS π·π±
I love being a Womban.
To know that I was created in the spiritual likeness of the divine feminine and inserted into the earth suit image of Eve, is such a glorious manifestation by The Most High God himself.
His works are wonderfulπ€.
Being womban also includes several battles.
Despite having to endure the emotional and physical pains of menstruation...
I choose to view this monthly cycle exactly for what it is:
A godly reminder that I was born with a grand purpose.
It is not one that I necessarily have to go out into the world searching for since it is already within me.
✨My Womb (the incubator that carries spiritual eggs that are in preparation to hatch, and the sacred place where God performs his artwork for the world to witness πΆπΎ).
Whether you are an unmarried lady or an adult women who’s struggling with infertility.
Your current situation does not minimize your wombanly purpose: You are still an incubator who can give birth
to a new hobby, use this time to learn a new craft π¨π§΅.
You still carry the spiritual milk of Nourishment.
Learn to transition this energy into genuine service towards your family: elderly, widowed, or disabled π§π½π¦½.
Call and ask if there’s any housekeeping or weekly errands they need help with?
I’m sure your family members will greatly appreciate you reaching out to them.
The point is don’t let the fact that you’re currently unmarried or seasonally barren stop you from the enjoyment of being a WOMBAN.
Nor, allow it to subliminally pressure you into masculine ambitions if you would rather continue embodying a feminine lifestyle
(...even if that means sacrificing owning less of the latest luxuries).
That is a choice many of our grandmothers,
who chose not to follow the culture shifts
of “women’s empowered advancements”,
decided to yield in exchange to exercising
their continual freedom of being a Homemaker.
As well as prioritizing their physical health,
supporting their husbands,
and enjoying caring for their own children.
Even if that meant she had to perform more household work by hand in order to reduce expenses, and shopping at discounted stores as opposed to working towards a closet filled with Birkin Bags.
π€π‘Perhaps there’s some wisdom we can learn from the lives of our grandmothers who appreciated operating in an orderly home, loving marriage, and cultivating the daily arts of a feminine lifestyle.
In the meantime, fellow traditional sisters, continue to take your vitamins, enjoy your herbal teas, and joyfully serve those that matter most.
